Functional Privacy 

Located on a busy arterial, this landscape was designed to minimize views of cars and pedestrians while maintaining views of nature. An espalier fence planted with apricot, peach, apple, pear, and plum trees serves as an edible screen. The hillside planting below the espalier contains Mediterranean and subtropical species to take advantage of the full sun exposure and reflection from the lake.
